On Friday the 13th, Erik Miller of OCCA met with members of GYLA and  County Rep. Steve Fournier to review the status of the water chestnut problem in Goodyear Lake. Below: the group plans the work. Photos by Sally Barlow. More photos of this day by Sally may be seen at the Milford Town Hall.

On January 17th, The Polar Bear Jump was held again on Goodyear Lake. This remarkable project, organized by Jamie Waters and family, saw 165 jumpers brave the icy waters and  raise over $30,000 for needy causes. Well done!! This year, with permission from the organizers, the Goodyear Lake Association sold our centennial apparel from a booth at the jump site. Photos of the volunteers are shown below:
